It was a solitary predator and hunted herbivorous dinosaurs like Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, and Edmontosaurus. It used its strong jaws to crush the bones of its prey and swallowed large chunks of meat without chewing. Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the last dinosaurs to exist before the mass extinction event that wiped out all dinosaurs 65 million years ago.
